Whisper has the options and capacity to deliver Rapidly Renewable Fiber (RRF) paper products - the new frontier in sustainability. A step up from recycling, RRF is produced from non-wood plantations (like bamboo, sugarcane, hemp and flax) which take less than 10 years to reach maturity. These plantations are grown and harvested in ways that protect the eco-system, while safeguarding old-growth forests and providing wider environmental benefits.
Whisper Tree Free, crafted from Bamboo and Sugarcane, provides one of the highest levels of guilt-free paper available today. The products are sustainable, strong and 100% biodegradable, amongst a whole host of other benefits.
Fast growing grasses with deep root systems, means the same plant can be harvested repeatedly, and will then grow back quickly (within months)!

BAMBOO NEEDS NO FERTILIZERS, INSECTICIDES OR PESTICIDES. IT GROWS IN ARID CONDITIONS, PROTECTS FROM EROSION & ACTIVELY IMPROVES THE SOIL QUALITY.
Sugarcane “bagasse” is the byproduct (agricultural residue) of sugar refining. Instead of disposing it, bagasse is used as pulp for paper.
Bamboo & Sugarcane fibers produce strong paper products and super soft tissue (due to the short, young fibres). They are both stronger and softer than most recycled papers.
THESE YOUNG, FAST-GROWING PLANTS ABSORB MORE CARBON THAN OLD-GROWTH TREES, IN ORDER TO GROW. THIS HELPS REDUCE CLIMATE CHANGE IMPACTS.
Quick breakdown of short young (non-wood) fibres, as opposed to long timber fibres. RRF are also safe for all disposal systems, including septic.
Rural economies are supported and greater employment opportunities are created. By providing long-term incomes for locals, it diverts participation from dangerous and illegal trading in old-growth timber.
Virgin RRF doesn’t require heavy bleaching/de-inking like recycled paper. Plus using RRF materials saves considerable amounts of fuel, energy, and water compared to recycled fibres.
Whisper understands it’s not always viable to take one giant leap into totally greenifying your entire product range or systems. So we created a tiered attack, starting with our standard FSC range as an affordable, responsible base product. For those that want to really up the anti, Whisper has options for recycled and totally guilt-free paper products.
